Our goat hunts are eight nights and seven days. The units we hunt for goats in are 240 and 250. The day and lodge hunts are run out of our home base three miles south of Hamilton Montana. Our wilderness hunts are conducted in the ten mile and bear creek drainages of unit 240. The deadline to apply is May 1st. The season is Sept 15th through Nov. 29th.

While drawing a goat tag for our area is challenging it is not impossible and the dream of hunting a trophy mountain goat in the Bitterroot's becomes a reality for a handful of hunters each year. We hunt and fish this area 95% of the year and we often see goats while on other big game hunts or while hiking to high mountain lakes and streams. Therefore we know the habits of the goat and know where to go to find them.
