Montana Hunting & Fishing Adventures is committed to providing our guests with memories that last a lifetime and with many lifetimes of hunting experience in this area to help in your pursuit of a trophy this will happen. We believe that a successful hunt is measured by the total experience. Our business is family owned and operated exclusively in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area and on over one million acres of the Bitterroot National Forest. We are licensed by the Montana Board of Outfitters and hold a U. S. Forest Service special use permit under the direction of the Bitterroot National Forest. We also operate on small parcels of private land. Our hunts are 100% fair chase, with no game fences or guaranteed kill situations. We offer rifle and archery hunts for Elk, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Bear, Mountain Lion, Moose, Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goat. We offer full service combination hunts for the archery and rifle hunter, we are sure to have a hunting opportunity to suit your needs. Accommodations vary on different hunts from deluxe wall tent camps, cabins or trailer and in some cases modern motel facilities. Please ask for details on specific hunts.  We believe that anything worth doing is worth doing well. Our guides are licensed and knowledgeable and will accompany you 100% on your hunt to ensure the best possible chance at harvesting an animal. They are skilled and experienced woodsmen that know their trade. They will pack, dress, skin, and cape your trophy. They share our views and are committed to doing everything possible to make your hunt a success and an experience you will want to enjoy again and again.  We like to get to know our guests. The time spent hunting together and in camp around the campfire or at the dinner table, is a great bonus to any hunt.

We spend many days scouting and preparing for your hunt long before the seasons open. However, the harvest success of each hunt depends on weather conditions and the ability and desire of each individual.

On our guided hunts the hunting units we operate in are 204, 240, 250, 260, 261 and 270. Our hunts are eight nights with seven full days of hunting. Lodge hunts are based out of Hamilton, Montana in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.

Wilderness spike camps are in the Bear Creek drainage of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness.

We furnish your lodging, meals,  transportation on your hunt, in field game preparation and experienced guides. 

You furnish your transportation to our home base   hunting license, personal gear, taxidermy and meat processing. Airport shuttles can be arranged.

Hunting is done using 4-wheel drive vehicles, horse and on foot depending on hunting conditions and game location.

Our guides are experienced woodsman and work hard to see that you have a safe, enjoyable and successful hunt.

Fall hunts are available September, October and November.  

Spring bear hunts are available April 15th through June 15th.

Mountain Lion hunts are available December 1^st through  April 14th.

Wolf hunts September till the quota is filled.

Moose, Sheep and Goat are available September, October and November.
