  6. Trout with Salmon fly
With the first day of summer the waters have finally started to recede to a fishable level. The fishing is fast and you have to be on your game to get in the soft water as you go by. With the extream snow pack this year we the levels will be up for some time and we should have good water all season. The Salmon flys are just staring to pop on the Bitterrroot. so get out there and have some fun be careful watch your step and make sure you know what's around the bend.
  7. Cuttbow Trout on the Bitterroot River

  8. The Bitterroot River the last day of Feburary 2011It's that time of the year again spring is just around the corner and every one is getting the itch to get out and start the fly fishing season. The Skwalla Hatch starts the season off on the Bitterroot River. The Skwalla nymphs are near the shore and will start to crawl out as soon as we get some warmer weather and good sunshine. The river still has a few iced over spots but they will break up soon and we will start floating.

  9. Montana Mountain Lion in a tree

On the second day of good snow, the boys got some exercise and I got some pictures.

  10. Not much fishing going on now.
