The deadline to apply for your Montana your hunting license is March 15th.
Our rifle hunts are run late October through the end of November. We offer one back country wilderness rifle hunt. This hunt is the first week of rifle season. The rest of the season we hunt from our base three miles south of Hamilton. Our rifle hunts are run late October through the end of November. This season allows us to hunt high county early and winter range the latter part of the season, when game is concentrated at lower elevations. Hunting techniques used are spot and stalk, and still hunting. Transportation to hunting areas are 4-wheel drive vehicles or horses but most of the hunting will be on foot. You need to be proficient with your weapon and in as good physical condition as possible to improve your chances of taking a trophy. Rifle hunts are 8 nights and 7 days. We offer both 1 on 1 hunts (you have your own personal guide) and 2 on 1 hunts (2 hunters share a guide).
