If you are not into boat rides and just want to wade these trips are for you. Much of the fishing on small mountain streams and spring creeks in the area is restricted to wade fishing only. The headwaters of the Bitterroot River supports abundant populations of wild trout and an endless variety of pristine places to fish for them.
Walk and Wade trips are conducted on your choice of rivers streams or lakes. We offer walk and wade trips on all the rivers we float and on small mountain streams to small to float. The smaller streams are where the fish are fierce eaters and will take almost anything you throw at them. This is a fun trip for the younger kids as they can get more action and the size makes no difference to them.

Yellowstone Fly Fishing Trip This trip is only offered on multiple day excursions
The Yellowstone River is known internationally as one of the premier trout waters in the world. With it's head waters in Wyoming gaining momentum in Yellowstone National Park, the Yellowstone rumbles out of the Park near Gardiner, Montana. Surrounded by jagged peaks and banks lined with cottonwoods, the Yellowstone is one of the most scenic places in Montana and a near perfect fly fishing river. The Yellowstone is usually the last Montana river to come in to shape, and when it drops and clears just enough on the edges, the big bugs (salmon flies) and the big trout turn on. The river holds native Yellowstone cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout. |
